Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Momentohm Media LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the Chat Video Pro software extension (“the Software”) and our marketing website.

Chat Video Pro is a downloadable extension for Adobe Premiere Pro, designed to be privacy-first. We believe your creative workflow and assets are your business: we do not receive your media, projects, or prompts. This policy describes the information we do collect to deliver, license, support, and market our product, and the third parties involved.

1. Introduction#

By using the Software or our website, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Because Chat Video Pro is a downloadable application that runs locally inside Adobe Premiere Pro rather than a cloud-hosted Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), we do not have access to your raw media files, timelines, or local projects.

2. What We Collect#

We collect the following information for license management, product diagnostics, communication, sales, and marketing:

• License Key Information: Upon purchasing the Software, we collect license keys, email addresses, and machine identifiers during product activation to prevent piracy and manage active installations.
• Pseudonymous Usage Analytics and Error Reports: To help us improve the Software, the extension sends usage analytics (such as which features and AI models you use, how long processing takes, and your Chat Video Pro, Premiere Pro, and operating-system versions) and crash/error reports (error messages and recent activity logs) to PostHog. Usage analytics are sent only if you opt in, and you can turn them off at any time in the extension's Settings under “Analytics” (“Share usage data and crash reports”; versions before 3.3.0 label it “Share anonymous usage data and crash reports”). Error reports are on by default and can be turned off separately in Settings under “Essential Error Reporting.” The extension removes file paths and email addresses from this data before sending it. This data is pseudonymous, not anonymous: it is tied to a random ID created for your installation and, once you have opted in to usage analytics and activated a license, to your Lemon Squeezy customer ID, which lets us connect it to your purchase record.
• Email Address: If you voluntarily sign up for our newsletter, join our Discord server, or contact us directly for support, we collect your email address to respond to your queries and send product updates.
• Email Address Entered Before Checkout: If you enter your email address on our website to unlock a discount before checkout, we store it together with the product and price you were viewing, how you found our website (such as the campaign in the link you followed), your website analytics ID, and your cookie choice at that time (whether analytics and advertising tracking was on for you). If you do not complete your purchase, we may send you reminder emails about it; each one includes an unsubscribe link, and its checkout links pass that stored choice to Lemon Squeezy (see Section 6). We also add the address to our GoHighLevel contact list and pass it to Lemon Squeezy to pre-fill your checkout. If analytics and advertising tracking is on for you, we also send Meta a hashed (scrambled) copy of it (see Section 6).
• Payment Information: All financial transactions are processed by our secure third-party checkout and payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, which shares your order details with us (such as your name, email address, and what you bought). We do not store or have access to your full credit card numbers or banking credentials.

3. What We Do NOT Collect#

Our privacy design strictly limits our access to your creative output. Momentohm Media does NOT receive, store, or have access to:

• Your video files, audio files, images, or any creative media you process inside Chat Video Pro. Media you work with locally stays on your computer. Media you choose to use with an AI feature is sent from your computer to fal.ai, not to us (see below).
• Your Premiere Pro project files, sequence timecodes, or timeline assets. No timeline structure data is transmitted to our servers.
• Your prompts, transcripts, or AI results. AI requests are sent directly from your computer using your own fal.ai account credentials. We do not proxy, log, or inspect your prompts, transcripts, or generated results.

What AI features send, and to whom: The AI features in Chat Video Pro do not run entirely on your computer. When you use one, the extension sends your prompt, any transcript text included in the request, and any media you choose to use (such as images, video clips, or audio) from your computer to fal.ai under your own fal.ai account. When you use cloud transcription, the extension uploads the audio to fal.ai to be transcribed. fal.ai routes chat requests through OpenRouter to the AI model provider you pick, currently OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, or Moonshot AI. Some of the media and transcription models you can choose through fal.ai are provided by other companies, and your request may be passed to the company that provides the model you select. What these companies do with that data is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, not by this policy; please review them.

4. Third-Party Services#

Chat Video Pro and our website rely on the following third-party services. Each receives the information described here and handles it under its own terms and privacy policy:

• fal.ai: Runs the AI features in the extension. It receives your prompts, transcript text, and the media you choose to use, as described in Section 3. Usage is subject to fal.ai's privacy policy and billed directly to your personal fal account.
• OpenRouter and AI Model Providers: fal.ai sends chat requests through OpenRouter to the AI model provider you select (currently OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, or Moonshot AI).
• Lemon Squeezy: Runs our checkout, processes payments and subscriptions, issues and checks license keys, and runs our affiliate program. When you activate or check a license, the extension sends your license key and a device identifier to Lemon Squeezy. They collect and maintain payment details in accordance with their own security policies.
• PostHog: Product analytics for our website and the extension (see Sections 2 and 6). If analytics and advertising tracking was on for you when you went to checkout from our website, or, for a checkout from one of our reminder emails, when you entered your email address (see Section 6), we also send PostHog the order details we receive from Lemon Squeezy, including your name and email address. If analytics and advertising tracking was on for you when you entered your email address before checkout, we also send PostHog records of the checkout reminder emails we send you, linked to your website analytics ID.
• Meta: The Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API, which we use to measure our advertising (see Section 6).
• Google: Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics on our website (see Section 6), and YouTube, which hosts the videos embedded on our website.
• GoHighLevel: Our customer contact and email marketing platform. It receives the email addresses you give us on our website. It also provides the chat widget on our website, which loads for every visitor; anything you type into the chat widget is sent to GoHighLevel.
• MailerSend: Sends the checkout reminder emails described in Section 2. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time by clicking the link at the bottom of our emails.
• Hosting: Vercel hosts our website. Neon hosts the database where we store the email addresses and checkout details described in Section 2. Our license service, which checks Creator Pass subscription status using your license key, runs on Cloudflare.
• Discord: Hosts our community and support server. We do not send Discord your information; if you join, Discord handles your account and messages under its own policies.

5. Your Rights#

Depending on your location, you may have legal rights regarding your personal information, including the right to request access, correction, or deletion of the limited personal data we hold (such as your license record or email subscriptions). If you wish to exercise any of these rights, please email us at chatvideopro@gmail.com.

6. Cookies#

Our marketing website uses essential cookies and similar browser storage to enable fundamental operations, such as remembering your cookie choice, remembering an email address you entered to unlock a discount, crediting affiliate referrals, and supporting our interactive customer chat widget (provided by GoHighLevel, which loads for every visitor).

Analytics and advertising: We also use Google Tag Manager (which loads Google Analytics), the Meta Pixel, and PostHog. These use cookies and similar technology to collect information about your visit, such as the pages you view, what you click, your IP address, browser and device details, and how you arrived at our website. PostHog can also record your session on our website (how you move through and interact with our pages); anything you type into form fields, such as your email address, is masked in these recordings. If you sign up for our newsletter or enter your email address on one of our campaign pages while these tools are on, we link your email address to your PostHog profile and make it available to Google Tag Manager. We use this information to measure and improve our website and our advertising on Meta. When you click through to checkout, our server also sends Meta, through its Conversions API, your IP address, your browser's user agent, the Meta cookie identifiers (_fbp and _fbc), the page address, and the checkout event (the product and price).

Your choice: If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, or if we cannot determine your location, we show a consent banner, and these analytics and advertising tools load only if you click “Accept”; if you click “Decline,” they do not load. In other locations, we do not show the banner, and these tools load by default when you visit. Our website does not currently offer a setting to change your choice later. You can block or delete cookies for our website in your browser settings; clearing our website's cookies and stored data resets your choice, and in the locations listed above the banner will ask you again.

Events sent from our server: If analytics and advertising tracking is on for you and you give us your email address on our website, our server sends Meta a “Lead” event containing a hashed (scrambled) copy of your email address, your IP address, your browser's user agent, and the _fbp and _fbc identifiers if your browser has them. When you go to checkout from our website, we pass your current choice to Lemon Squeezy with your order. When you go to checkout from a checkout reminder email we send through MailerSend, we pass the choice we stored when you entered your email address (see Section 2). If tracking was on, then when you complete a purchase or subscription our server sends Meta a purchase event containing a hashed copy of your email address, the order details, and the _fbp and _fbc identifiers if they were passed to checkout, and sends PostHog the order details, including your name and email address. If you declined, had not made a choice, or started checkout from any other link outside our website (for example in the extension, or in an email other than those checkout reminders), our server does not send these events; the same applies to renewals of subscriptions that began before we started recording this choice, and to checkouts from reminder emails about an email address you entered before we started storing this choice.

Affiliate tracking: Our affiliate program is run by Lemon Squeezy. Lemon Squeezy's affiliate script loads on every page of our website for every visitor, regardless of your cookie choice. If you arrive through an affiliate link, the script sends Lemon Squeezy the page address, the referring page, the affiliate code, and an identifier generated from your browser's characteristics, and sets a cookie so the affiliate can be credited if you buy. We also save the affiliate code in our own cookie for 30 days for the same purpose.
