Chat Video Pro is a downloadable extension for Adobe Premiere Pro, designed to be privacy-first. We believe your creative workflow and assets are your business, and we only collect the minimum information required to deliver and license our product.

1. Introduction#

By using the Software or our website, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Because Chat Video Pro is a downloadable application that runs locally inside Adobe Premiere Pro rather than a cloud-hosted Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), we do not have access to your raw media files, timelines, or local projects.

2. What We Collect#

We collect only the essential details necessary for license management, basic product diagnostics, and communication:

• License Key Information: Upon purchasing the Software, we collect license keys, email addresses, and machine identifiers during product activation to prevent piracy and manage active installations.
• Anonymized Usage Telemetry: To help us improve the Software, we collect basic, anonymized metrics (such as model usage counts, processing durations, and crash/error reports). This data does not contain any personal information, and you can easily opt out of this telemetry at any time via the Settings menu inside the extension.
• Email Address: If you voluntarily sign up for our newsletter, join our Discord server, or contact us directly for support, we collect your email address to respond to your queries and send product updates.
• Payment Information: All financial transactions are processed by our secure third-party payment processors (Stripe, Lemon Squeezy, or FastSpring). We do not store or have access to your full credit card numbers or banking credentials.

3. What We Do NOT Collect#

Our privacy design strictly limits our access to your creative output. We do NOT collect or transmit:

• Your video files, audio files, images, or any creative media you process inside Chat Video Pro. All media processing happens entirely on your local machine.
• Your Premiere Pro project files, sequence timecodes, or timeline assets. No timeline structure data is transmitted to our servers.
• Your API request payloads or prompt histories. All AI model API calls are made directly from your computer to the AI providers using your own fal.ai account credentials. We do not proxy, log, or inspect your prompts or generated results.

4. Third-Party Services#

Chat Video Pro interfaces with third-party providers to execute AI workflows and process transactions. These external services include:

• fal.ai: Handles AI model execution and inference. Usage is subject to fal.ai's privacy policy and billed directly to your personal fal account.
• Payment Processors: We use industry-standard merchant providers (such as Stripe or Lemon Squeezy) to process billing. They collect and maintain payment details in accordance with their respective security policies.
• Email Services: We use marketing and email delivery partners (such as ConvertKit or Beehiiv) to manage our newsletters. You can unsubscribe from these updates at any time by clicking the link at the bottom of our emails.

5. Your Rights#

Depending on your location, you may have legal rights regarding your personal information, including the right to request access, correction, or deletion of the limited personal data we hold (such as your license record or email subscriptions).
